Automation Engineer (n8n)

Location: Remote (Europe, ±2 hours from CET preferred)

Employment Type: Full-time

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining workflows in n8n, integrating multiple systems and APIs, improving existing automations, and implementing AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• ✔ Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using n8n
• ✔ Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot existing workflows
• ✔ Integrate APIs, web services, and third-party platforms
• ✔ Monitor workflows and ensure reliability, performance, and scalability
• ✔ Implement error handling, logging, and recovery strategies
• ✔ Collaborate with internal teams to automate business and technical processes
• ✔ Adopt and integrate AI tools and services into workflows
• ✔ Write custom logic using JavaScript when needed
• ✔ Maintain documentation for workflows and systems

Required Skills and Experience

• ✔ Strong knowledge with n8n
• ✔ Solid software engineering skills
• ✔ Experience working with APIs (REST, Webhooks, OAuth)
• ✔ Experience working with JSON and data transformation
• ✔ Ability to design scalable and maintainable workflows
• ✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• ✔ Experience integrating AI tools and APIs
• ✔ Ability to work independently and take ownership

Nice to Have

• ✔ Strong knowledge of JavaScript
