Last updated: February 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Zoho Mail Safe Domains – Anti-Phishing Protection (the "Extension") handles user data.

1. Overview

Zoho Mail Safe Domains is a browser extension designed to help users identify trusted internal and organization email domains within Zoho Mail and to reduce the risk of email spoofing and phishing attacks.
Extension operates entirely within the user's browser and focuses solely on enhancing email security inside Zoho Mail.

The Extension does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data.
Specifically, the Extension does not collect:

  • Health information
  • Location data
  • Browsing history
  • Keystrokes, clicks, or user activity tracking
  • All processing is done locally within the user's browser.

3. Local Storage

  • User preferences
  • Cached domain verification settings
  • This data is stored locally on the user's device only and is never sent to any external server.

4. Cookies

  • Does not access cookies from non-Zoho domains
  • Does not use cookies for tracking or analytics

5. Permissions Usage

No permissions are used outside Zoho Mail or for unrelated purposes.

6. Remote Code

The Extension does not use remote code. All JavaScript and logic are bundled within the extension package and are reviewed as part of the Chrome Web Store submission process.

7. Data Sharing

The Extension:

  • Does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties
  • Does not share data with advertisers or analytics services
  • Does not transmit data to external servers

8. Third-Party Services
